Hello Ladies
It's been a very long time since I've posted on MSE. I like to follow things like this thread though. Some very inspiring ideas:T
I too am trying to save as much money for Christmas. Being self employed with my line of work drying up quickly, it's all a bit too scary. But I won't bore you all with my problems!
I was just wondering what the atmosphere's like on dooyoo these days? I see some of you say you write a few reviews a day. I remember when I posted two in a day once I got snotty comments from people saying I was "churning" and it wasn't a nice place to be. Have things changed?
Is ciao still in existance for review writing? Again, I stopped on there owing to nasty comments.
Thank youComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

elysia2003 wrote: »Rufus - I totally recommend the Sun Newspaper holidays. You can have a 3 night stay (weekend) or 4 night (Mon to Fri). There is even the possibility to upgrade to a full week (which we're doing). It only costed about £200 for 3 adults, 1 child and the dog.
You just have to save about 7 vouchers. The only downfall is that you have to provide upto five dates and five places. Once you've taken the holiday though, you get a priority booking form and you get to book online before the postal applications, then 90% of the time you get where and when you want.
I hope that if you do't get away, that you get some nice days out. You know what they say - a change is as good as a rest (ooooh I saound like my Mum:rotfl:).
Thanks Elysia, I doubt whether we will get away this year but will definitely try to get some good days out. Our trouble is one moody teenage daughter at the moment who doesnt want to do "anything" with oldies like us lol so family days out have been put on hold, its just me and OH. She only wants to go out with her friends or my eldest daughter. Funny how they can change practically overnight isnt it, I am sure I was just as bad to my parents at her age if not worse.
As for Ciao reviews, I copied some of mine over from Dooyoo a while ago to see how they would do on there and so far have earned the princely sum of 6p so have given that idea up and will stick to Dooyoo.
Hope you have all managed to get some sun time in today, I spent the afternoon out in the garden with the dog doing some sewing and reading a book (not at the same time).0 -
Rufus you did better than me on Ciao - last time I looked I'd got 2p. Woo Hoo. LOL
Moody Teenagers - don't tell me about them. I'm sure I grew out of paddywhacks by 3 or 4 - but DD1 (19) is still having them.
Hiya Scuzz - best thing to do is just ignore the comments. As long as you are rating fairly I can't see why anyone should have a problem. It's a shame how some people can spoil it.
Mum2one - can you ask Miss Hoodie to please be gentle.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

We've got her a coconut toilettry set from Body Shop, should have been £10, but redeemed full card, and then we've got a silver and cubic zirconia necklace from Argos, in all honestly it was brought as a spare, reduced from £30 to £5, and we used a gift voucher, so one totally money free present.:Txx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Have done the daily clicks today, started at the bottom and worked my way up just to be a bit different, didnt seem to take so long lol.
Claimed £15 from Get Pounds Back and £11 from Crunch Cashback.
Tried doing Its Your View through Top CashBack, not sure if it went right though as I did a whole survey right through to the end, took over half hour to complete it then it went back to the original page and said you didnt qualify. Was gutted so will have to see if it appears on my statement.0 -
I get the odd one that's like that, but in the main they are ok - just a bit long. I hope it tracks for you now.I :heartpuls M.S.E.

You can also do It's your view surveys on quidco (and the partner surveys) and get 70p each one. If you don't qualify you still get 1p. Well, it mounts up I suppose.
Hi I'm more of a lurker than poster on here
Do you have a link to the GFK surveys please?. I've had a look but can only find info about mystery shopping ?
TIA0 -
whats GFK surveys?
I do VO, GTM, Ipsos, Lightspeed, New vista (had a £3 one this morning) and onepoll.
got £30 coming from quidco this month which is the most I have had in ages from them.
sent off for my dooyoo check a few days ago :j and these two will go towards the kids passport renewals  but at least its extra money I wont miss and I wont have to dig into my savings. Just realised that the cheque book I have been using is on the last one and I am sure I have another one somewhere but cannot find it for the life of me. Can you go into the bank and they do you a cheque there and then?
wow its hot today, just come in for some cooling as being good and weeding the garden (a pet hate of mine!)
