Oh I know - time flies so fast. Have been on computer all day today, paying bills, and sorting ebay, and popping on here to check any new messages.

I bought a pair of trainers for DD2 from debenhams £30 reduced to £9 off the grabbit board. She'll be so chuffed!

I was also feeling ruthless in my money saving - so I cancelled my direct debit for a card making magazine which should leave my bank tomorrow, so just in time. £16.76 saved.

I also cancelled my yearly subscription to ancestry so I have a refund of £70.00 coming my way!

DD2 has the last of her swimming lessons tonight, so that's £170 a year saved. (Her choice - not mine. I'm not THAT bad)

That's about it - there's nothing left to cut out or cancel now.:eek::eek:

Hi Sarah, thanks for the welcome.

Well done Elysia, £55 in less than 3 months is great. Must get round to signing up on there. Already do loads of survey sites and earn a bit from them but not that much lol! My biggest earner is Consumer Pulse but thats limited what you can earn each month.

Must keep checking this thread more often, might be able to pick up a few tips from all you :D!!

evening everyone, seems my internet is staying on for the time being fingers crossed!

Well received my 2nd dooyoo cheque today so £100 since end of Dec, not bad eh? Much better than daily clicks etc.

Can everyone add my little sis on dooyoo and have a look at her first review. She is in my circle of friends so would be grateful if you could add her too :)

Just paid for DS1s summer camp which was £55 for a week which is brilliant considering that is everything included for a whole week!! So dooyoo money in one hand out the other!

Have sorted out with childminder and need to book a couple of days with holiday club now to see how they get on there, They are very excited having looked at the timetable for last year. Definitely the right decision.

right off to walk to beavers.

should hopefully write a few reviews tonight all being well :o

I haven't been on here for a while, my laptop went in for repaid and it seems so much more effort to log onto the desktop especially now i'm back at work but I just wanted to say well done to all those who achieved Feb's challenges. I'll give it a go for March, although i'm not sure what I can buy for a pound to make £20 will have to think about that.

I am struggling with the £1 challenge too Laura. I think its basically buy something for a £1 trying and double it to £2 and then buy something else and double it to £4 and so on, this is just an example of course.
So you start with a pound and then you cant spend anymore but you can use your profit to buy something bigger etc. (hope that makes sense :o)

Have just done 2 reviews, need to get back on track after having a few days off, really need the money next month as its my mums 65th birthday 1st April.

HLCarroll, that made me chuckle. That's something I would do!

Welcome back Laura - Don't worry about it, even if you don't manage the whole £20, it's more than you started with, plus it's a bit of fun at the same time!

Silly question everyone - sorry I'm thick.

You know when you paste a link? How do you do it so that it says link or here, so that when you click on that, then it takes you to the page? Do you know what I mean? Sorry.
