Starting new online business help please?

Hi.

I am currently in the process of setting up a new online business. I've set up the website, method of checkout, advertising, privacy policy, returns and guarentee laid out, but what else do i need before i can legally start trading?

I suppose there may be other things to consider depending on what you are selling (ie insurance) however have you considered the legal entity through which you will trade (sole trader, partnership or Ltd Co). If you are a sole trader then you do not need to register straight away but you should tell the Revenue promptly. If you are Ltd then you will need a specific bank account in place before you trade.
