Hi guys, I'm new to this and there is sooo much to read that I haven't quite had the chance, but to cut a long story short I clicked on a link from the Guardian website and landed on the website for 'UK Mystery Shopper Jobs'. I was wondering if anyone had heard of them, or had any experience with them?

    Thanks for the help! :)

A brief look at the site suggests it's a scam I'm afraid. We don't get paid per hour. If you want more info and suggestions on some good companies to sign up to have a look at the first couple of posts they have lots of information in them.

Re. ESA one of the jobs I applied for at the supermarket has gone from my applications but is still showing as available. I did it in Nov. Is it too soon to do again, do you think? Got the other one 500 yards away, so shame I can't do both.

They definitely don`t let you order meal deals. Best to order off the brief so that you don`t lose out. I usually order a starter to share, a med pizza and one salad bowl which I pile as high as possible and share that with who ever I am with.

Thanks squeaky, I wanted a definite answer so that's great. I ordered a salad bowl last time and enjoyed it very much. It was the best bit of the visit in fact. :D

There is a technique in piling it high, make sure the big stuff like the new potatoes goes on top, and don`t trip on the way back to the table..hehe!
Enjoy your pizza.....I had one yesterday!

In the past on ESA it wouldn't let me apply for jobs that I had done in the previous wave. Maybe they have a 3 month limit like some other companies?

After much practice I have perfected my technique;) It involves half filling the bowl then arranging the apple slices vertically around the edge. It more than doubles the size of the bowl.

The tricky bit is getting back without dropping any or being distracted by people stopping to watch the salad tower passing their table:D

Cheers, thanks. I initially took a look at the list of companies in the first two posts and then decided to ask when I didn't see this one. The site did look almost too good to be true. Better safe than sorry etc.

    Thanks again! :T
