So in regards to the pizza, would you have ordered the pizza otherwise, if the answers no you wouldnt then the expense that you paid out was wholly and exclusively to be able to carry out the assignment therefore the £10 (from prev post) would be noted as an expense.

I'm not sure about that - looking at it the other way, what would be the reason for carrying out the assignment other than to get the pizza?

Experience? to use as an incentive to get more work from the company? still not sure whether these reasons would get it ok'd tho!

The point being if you were not carrying out a MS would you have still have ordered the pizza that night therefore you would have bought it anyways. So the expense would not have been wholly and exclusively for the job.

That's really weird, I was just thinking the same thing!

More than happy for you to start it TG - just make sure you get everyone's approval this time, some people can be, erm, difficult!
