Wow busy day. 1 bank, 7 airport audits, 1 coffee, 1 lunch, 3 jobs for company that shall not be named, 2 electrical stores and breath!
Interesting lunch..a a french red cafe in the aiprort. My meal arrived and half way through found the salmon to be raw inside. Sent it back and freshly cooked one arrived sometime later. Well cooked but discovered a black hair in the salad..yuck! Waiter saw me fishing it out and couldn't have been more aplogetic. Called the manager over who insisted that I didn't have to pay despite me protesting. Got home to call the company to let them know what had happened only to realise I had visited the wrong location! There are 2 in the airport and I did the wrong one! Luckily not out of pocket and can re visit correct one nxt week. :rotfl:0 -

They cleared my tray, offered me another coffee, brought out newspapers, cleaned tables that weren't dirty and swept the floor when there was nothing there. I went to the loo before I left, and as I walked out, 2 members of staff sprinted from opposite sides of the restaurant to open the door for me. I walked out trying hard to sustain laughter when I saw, there in the car park, the Managaress sweeping the car park by my car!
I got in and drove off, half-expecting all the staff to be lined up at the front door to wave me off!
Hi TG,
ounds like you were treated to a right ' Royal ' visit, bet they wouldn't have treated the queen any better.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
On the odd occassion that DS wants to go I tend to ask for a receipt just so they'll get a 'gee up':T:T:T:T & we'll be served properly & the dafties don't even realise that the items we're buying are not on the 'MS MENU'

Has someone just released 2 Dry Cleaners, or are RE uploading their jobs the day before they expire again?
Anyone know how much it costs to dry clean a coat nowadays? Mine needs doing, but if it's going to be crazy expensive I think i'll stick to something inside the reimbursement.0 -

Hi Flygirl,
Been there, seen it, done it, got the tshirt join the club:T:T:T:T
Last week had a job @ airport, promised OH fab Sunday Lunch:) only 2 discover that 'Menu' was limited to the one item.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Then to add to his misery I 'lost' parking ticket (he reckons I left it on table in Pub grrrrrrrrrrr:mad::mad: but of course did it occur to him to pick it up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To get car back cost me a days parking (£16.00 instead of £3.00)
It was an eventful outing to say the least.
Will be avoiding those job's like the 'PLAGUE' from now on.

Today's Handy Tip:
Retaileyes. When doing your upload, why not get it right (1st or 2nd or 3rd time)?
That way, shoppers can accept assignments on offer rather than waste time pratting about with your new superdooper website. It's not as if they might then accept those pesky Health Club jobs you keep emailing everyone about rather than do work for other companies.
8 out of 10 cats said they preferred the new Retaileyes website as it's a great big ball of string that really needs unravelling...:wall:0 -
Phew.
Finished.
17 jobs in the last 2 days!!! Think my !!!! is glued to the chair now!!!
Night all!!

Phew, managed to bag the Mexican restaurant on RE. Had loads of problem on the website tonight, spent ages trying to apply for the job!
By the way, how much tip do you generally leave when doing a restaurant job? I know RE doesn't reimburse service charges. Also, is £40 likely to cover all the items that must be ordered? I tried to check the menu online but the PDF menu I found was useless...0 -

I hope it wasn't me getting in your way, I was dithering about taking a job, but they were only for monday night which isn't a great night for me.. I tend to leave 10% and get my 'guest' to pay that bit in cash, after all they are getting a freebie and don't have to do the write up afterwards.. not sure about the cost of the menu, not eaten at this particular chain before.. hope its good.. come back and tell all.. !Christmas 2020 £109

I've got one near me, I've eaten at a couple of them before, food tends to be pretty good and I'm sure you can get within or very close to the reimbursement....just don't go over board on the cocktails (best served in a jug with a straw imo ).
Think I'll be taking my mum - who can drive as she has work early Tuesday morning. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
