I have all 5 postcode areas too.
I always get electrical stores in a retail park with the same beginning postcode of mine, and also get offered lots of the same store in a different town which I have added as a postcode.
However... I never used to see the smaller branch of the same store in my town centre, so last week I amended one of my postcodes to the High Street of my home town, and lo and behold, I have seen and am doing said branch on Monday.
It seems a really strange system, in some towns I seem to need the exact beginning part of the postcode, in others just the letters seem sufficient (ie: IP instead of IP1 or 2).
I do a lot of jobs for GR so not really complaining, but there really doesn't seem to be a lot of consistency to their allocations. Although, once you know who their clients are, it is fairly easy to work the system.
(I am sure that reads really badly, but t'is late!!)0 -

Was told that RE proofreaders were quite behind because of lots of work, they had been drawing staff from other parts of the business to try and clear backlog but we are producing them as fast as they can clear them.0 -
Hi everyone, and happy Friday :T
Although I'm already in a bad mood because I can't print my questionnaire for tonight's delivery for RE. It just keeps printing the main page instead of the pop up window with the questionnaire on. Any ideas?!2019 will be my year!!0 -
Hi all
quick quest for ESA, when they ask for a note on support of your application what kind of things are they looking for?
TIA

I think that's a bit of a mystery - I just put that I've read the briefing and the dates I can do the job. Only once actually been allocated a job though so I may not be doing it right! Alternatively they may just allocate jobs randomly or depending on how far you live from the shops....0 -

How quick do they let you know? Will apply for more than I can do then just in case.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 102

Sometimes it's only the day before. Makes it hard to plan routes or apply for other jobs.0 -

Yes that's about what I put. Although I've not started putting "I am an experienced MS-er with other companies and am keen to start doing jobs for you, and can do this one on {date}." Hasn't helped though, still not got any!!
Just apply for as many as you can. You probably won't get any of them, but at least you can say you tried!!
Thanks for the reply
Oh bottom got all excited when I saw them as there were quite a few I could do quite near me. Oh well hey ho, fingers crossed my location will actually work for me this time.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 102

I have had an email from RE telling me about Pizza jobs, and inviting me to log on to find out more - which I do, and nothing!
I have several areas on my 'hit list' too - what am I doing wrong?0
