Ok, I just logged into RE and my payment which had rolled to the 10th has now disappeared so I'm thinking that may hit my account after all in the next few days. Will have to keep an eye on that. Can't give them a call as I'm at work. So wish I had my own office!

I checked at 7am this morning and it was still showing for 10th Feb. Checked again now and it's gone so hopefully on it's way to me

Anyone else still waiting on proofreading with RE? Submitted a report on the 16th Jan and it still hasn't been proofread. I know they can be slow sometimes, but 10 days??

Just busy inputting some mystery shops into the spreadsheet - how do people account for a shop where there is no purchase, you just have to evaluate a certain counter. Say for example you get £10 for doing it - would you put the £10 as a profit and no expense against it or do you account for time spent etc?

    thanks:D

Hi hjb, I just put £10 as the fee and £0 as the expense. I then have a column for mileage expense and I put the relevant figure there.

ah right, thanks for that, so really the £10 would almost all profit less the mileage/printing etc as you dont have to buy anything:D

  • Hi, Just come across this and wondered if anyone had used this site - you pay £34 to be registered with all Mystery shopper sites.......? Many thanks ;)

NEVER pay to do mystery shopping. It defeats the object!

This will sound dumb but I'm having trouble passing the orientation test to mystery shop for a certain fast food restaurant. It has 34 questions and all must be correct. I was really careful but I've definitely gone wrong somewhere. If I e-mailed the mystery shop company would they call me and help me through it over the phone?

@mizztb I don't think paying £34 to register is a good idea even if it was genuine. The info is all here for free and they might register you for companies that aren't suited to you--petrol shops if you don't have a car. Bookies if you don't know how to place bets. Fast food if you are a veggie....

I know that the proofreaders have been hit hard by the 'instability' of the new system (ie jobs take 10 times longer to complete and the same problems with not being able to submit checked reports)
