I've never really understood this but Why are the fees the same for all locations across the UK for the GAP jobs when the cost of living can be so different depending on where one lives?
Because they're based in Australia and don't know about regional variations!

  • I agree. The travel agents I have been past have been quiet lately so fingers crossed it will be the same when I visit! Think people are too poor after their Christmas spending to visit a TA and book a holiday.

You'd be surprised. I work for said agent and this is our busiest time of the year!

Did anyone get any stamp jobs in the north east, I've been refreshing for the last hour and don't see any. I've seen some in other parts of the country, just none up here. Just wondering if they haven't been loaded yet or if they are all gone.

Good point, people in the south should be paid three times as much as people up north:j:j:j:j

They might have gone. By the time I got the 2 stamp jobs in my area all the travel agent jobs had gone. Looked at an adjacent area and in the 2 mins it took me to work out if it was worth travelling all the stamp jobs and travel agents had gone there as well.

Wrong way round. People in the north have poorer travel links so it costs more to get to the jobs and we need to be paid higher to compensate. ;)
  • looks like gyp have a new travel agent client!

Just posted on the wrong thread, so sorry people, had both threads open in different windows.

Was just saying that although I passed my certification for stamps, I have never seen a stamp job in my area. Maybe I'm not quick enough?
