hi all. i've always had an old escort as my only car [edit that to very old!!] but at the beginning of this year i had my wife's old car [seat toledo] as she bought another & it wasn't really worth selling value wise. she has her own seperate policy with me as named driver on her insurance.
so i then had my escort running with full no claims & i then insured the seat toledo with no no-claims but i managed to get an offer due to 13 years claim free history.
i now have my escort on a classic/agreed value policy [new insurer] which doesn't require any no claims. now my old insurer of the escort is saying that that policy with them [previous 3 years i think] was never using any no-claims!!!
so where has my no-claims gone & is there anyway of getting it back?? i now don't know the last time i was using the no-claims on the escort!!
the toledo is up for renewal soon & i'll have one years no-claims on that policy even though i've 13 years worth
any help or advice/contacts appreciated.

If you didn't use your NCD when going to the escort insurer 3 years ago, then it is probably now lost.
Insurers usually will only accept proof of NCD that is 2 years old. (One or two will go to 3 years).0
