Dizzy, is there any alternative to going into a branch to open an additional account/accounts? Doesn't seem possible online now, can it be done by phone?

I did all mine in branch (it was quicker) - but I believe from other posts you can open a normal classic account online and then upgrade it, I think you may also be able to do it by phone

    Thanks. Site currently says:
    Before you start

You’ll need to be able to confirm all of the statements below. If you can’t, please go in to any Lloyds TSB branch to talk through your account options.
    • I do not have a current account with Lloyds TSB.
I'll give them a buzz in the week and see if it can be done by phone (rather than having to explain to an 'adviser' why I don't want any of their lovely GEBs :) ).

Have a search - I'm sure that problem 's been discussed in many threads and also what to say if you get some incompetant who says only 1 account is allowed.
Tho with a bit of luck someone will spot this and advise.
