Can I get Outlook Express to notify me when I receive an email from a particular addr

Is there any way that I can get Outlook Express to notify me when I receive an email from a particular address? A simple beep would be great. I know that you can get it to notify you whenever you get an email, but that will drive me mad. I only want to be notified for a particular sender. Grateful for any help.

Now fill in the relevant bits (it asks for email address of sender etc) and that's it.

May depend on which version of OE you have - my ancient version doesn't have "Rules & Alerts" under Tools.

Thanks. How time flies. Anyway I now have a new computer and am using Outlook instead of Outlook Express. It seems you can do what I want with Outlook so that's fine. Except that I've started just looking at my emails online (through my Virgin media account) instead of through Outlook. I much prefer this because it has a vastly superior search facility. So I'm now downloading all my emails to Outlook for the sole purpose of getting a notification of emails from this particular address. Is there any way I can improve on this set up? I thought about only downloading emails from this particular address but couldn't see how to do this.
