mobiles.co.uk complaint

I ordered my phone over 2 weeks ago now and still have not received it after numerous conversations and promises from customer services department. I have found your customer service department very unhelpful and have had the phone put down on me numerous times as no one wants to take responsibility for my query.

I have had email correspondence and verbal confirmation the phone will be delivered numerous times, i also have an email that says i failed the credit check yesterday (which i can asure i have not). I have also received and spoken with O2 who are charging me for this contract for a phone i still have not received.

I really need somebody to take responsibility and follow this query through to completion or i am more than willing to raise a complaint with the appropriate ombudsman OTELO about the way your company has dealt with my order and me as a customer.

Is there anybody who can give some guidance ?

    Hi there,

    Doesn't sound very good. Please email ben at mobiles with your order number so I can look into it, and forward me the emails you are referring to? Obviously nobody should be hanging up on a customer and you cannot have simultaneously failed a credit check and have an account live so we need to work out what actually happened here.

  • I have the same problem as above. I ordered my phone on 17 Jan 2010 and it never arrived.
    After numerous calls and emails I keep on getting promises and no progress so far.
    To make it even worse, two direct debits came out from my account: £17.94 from TMTI and £7.99 from Carphone Warehouse. Apparently £17.94 is for the gadget support service and £7.99 for insurance.
    Both services are for the services related to the handset I have never received.
    I will email ben at mobiles.co.uk as my last resort to resolve the query through the Mobiles.co.uk complaints procedure. Then I will direct my issue to OTELO.
