Suggesting CASHBACK sites!

Why is it that everytime someone posts an offer that someone has to post "Remember ....... gives you cash-back, i can get you....by refering you, just pm me"

It has got to the stage where it annoys me soooooo bloody much!

If I wanted to use cashback I would have registered ages ago!

And anyway how much do you get! 3%! ::) Like thats a lot!

This site is full of people yapping on about Cashback sites! There is nothing special about them! All your doing is helping to make money for a website, getting yourself 50p in the process!

And before anyone starts yapping on about how much they get from these sites.........I DON'T CARE

I remember over a year ago now recommending a particular service, and was shot down in flames when I did not post that there was a cashback site incentive available !

    Agree though - there's a place for referrals -

...excuse me if I'm wrong here, but is this not a money saving site?? ;);)
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more...
  • Yes worldtraveller, a money saving site but not a money making site off the back of other users :-/

I don't mine people reminding users to use a cashback site as sometimes it gets forgotten in the flurry of ordering a bargain online BUT no referrals are allowed in posts, except on the Referrers Board, nor in signatures, so the answer is simple. Report to Abcon.

Mea Culpa :D but not of using an affiliate link or offering to sign people up - wouldn't know how to!!

Many times I've rushed to put an order in and as soon as I've clicked the "place order" remembered I should have used the cashback site. Esp. if it's a good %, up to 5% or £2.50 for a £2.50 order ;)

A polite reminder to others not to make the same mistake surely isn't such a biggie?? It's not an order, just a one-liner reminder :)

I'm the same as you Addy, I've never used a referral link but I do remind people sometimes especially if for example you get £2.50 cashback when you spend £2.50.

And, sorry Wirm but I've just received a cheque for £47 from Greasypalm and not one penny came from a referrals.

You can shout at me now if you like.

  • Sometimes ive been thankful that someone has reminded me about claiming cash back. I mean if you're buying online anyway, might as well make a couple of bob too, no matter how much it is.
