Positive balance?

I want to BT to an M&S credit card, is it okay to 'over-BT' so the card has a positive balance that I can spend on purchases? Ta.

1.Your CC rules forbid carrying a positive balance.
    2. You will not be protected for the positive amount in case of fraud
    Your choice!

Probably not for 2 resons (but you need to check YOUR Terms and conditions for YOUR card).

    1) Credit balances are generally not insured so if your money is stolen or used fradulently, you won't be insured.

    2) It's against some cards terms and conditions.

As I said I'm speaking generally as I'm not familiar with you card, so to be sure you need to check with M&S.
  • Thanks for the answers - I didn't think it was and it was only gonna be a small amount so I'll not bother in case they refused the whole BT. :)
