Stuck with SkyNetwork without my agreement

As in the title I found out I was migrated from a BT landline to SkyNetwork .
To cut the story short I decided to get a Humax HDR Freesat and ditch SKY .I don't have enough time to watch even the BBC so I said it's a waste of money keeping a SKY subscription.
I choose SKY about 2 years ago when I moved house and because Virgin wasn't available I transfered my broadband and my BT landline to them .
I called them last week to tell them that I would like to drop my TV package but keep my broadband , landline and call package with them. They said I can't do it as I have to keep my TV package in order to keep all the others. I wasn't pleased about this as nobody told me when I transferred to them about all this conditions. So I told them that I would like to cancel all package and move my broadband away.I checked my phone number with 02 and it wasn't recognised. After more calls to SKY I found that I am not on a BT line anymore as they transferred me over the summer to their SkyNetwork. I asked them how could they do that whithout my written agreement and they said they sent a letter and because I did not opt out they transferred me to their network .I never seen that letter.
I found this outrageous and I am fuming as obviously this is a very sneaky tehnique making it extremely difficult to get away from them .
I wrote several days ago to their complaining department but they can barely bother to reply. What can I do ?
At this moment the only thing I want is to cancel my contract with them ( which is expired anyway)but I want them to put me back on a BT line .Without a BT line no ISP can take over and provide me broadband.
Should I complain to OFFCOM or Trading Standards? What can I do about this ?
Thank you for reading my rant.

If you're quick, you could always take advantage of the free installation offer BT is currently offering (18 month contract, make at least 10 chargeable or inclusive calls via BT each month).
OTOH, it may just be a case of calling BT and telling them you want to move the line back to them. That'd involve agreeing to a 12 month contract (for line rental).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Thank you for advice. I will wait for their reply first see if they put me back on the Bt line and then I will kiss them good bye.If you're quick, you could always take advantage of the free installation offer BT is currently offering (18 month contract, make at least 10 chargeable or inclusive calls via BT each month).

or writing a letter to the Daily Mail, it might mean they have to slag Sky off instead of slagging the BBC off
