This seems like a good deal - my partner thinks there must be a catch, has anyone got any thoughts?

I have had mine about 3 months now and its been great. I have had to alter the standing order once too (due to lack of funds over christmas), and you can do it online.
I shall be altering the standing order again this week for my next payment.0 -
No catch at all. Depends how much cash you have to spare, but you can also put a maximum of £500 p.m. with Abbey for 7% too, whereas with Halifax you are limited to £250 p.m.0

So get both - and you have a £750 limit0

Do you have to keep these up for a year?
Also, can you have the full 500 for the fiurst few months and then reduce it to 20 or something untill the end?0 -
Another question :-[
I will be goin to uni next september and may need the money before then. Can you withdraw it and keep the interest? What happens if you withdraw before the full year?0 -
