I'm doin Regent and Holi on Sunday (watch out for flying powder!!) Should be a good weekend (fingers sore from wire knitting - think I'm getting early onset of arthritis!!)

so excitied about holi on sunday!! i hope i (we all) sell loads!!!!!!

i have never met any of you guys on here so please introduce yourselves!!! i will have a stand of jewellery with a purple table cloth and my dad will probably be with me giving me a hand!!

Just want to wish you all good luck for the holi on Sunday. I can't make it, but I'll be wishing you all the best. Isn't it great that Belfast is starting to hold more events of this ilk?

I'm about to knock off the pot-painting for tonight and have a nice glass of vino (my boyfriend is also moaning about the dining room becoming my art space...I've told him that as I'm planning on doing lots of craft fairs I may have to turn it into my permanent studio!) ;-)

Thanks for the good luck message. I saw Nisha from Holi in Telegraph tonight so hopefully there will be lots of people there.
Don't worry about losing your dining room to your art space, my son when home from college @ Christmas was complaining he had lost his bedroom to Chocolate Fountains and supplies and as the spare room is now my office he reckons we were nicely trying to tell him we have no room for him any more! He ended up having to share his brothers room for the 1st time in 21 year and will now have to do so everytime he comes home!!!

Tell me about it! My hubby transformed our box room into my 'studio' when DS got too big and moved into the bigger room, but guess what? Still end up with beads all over the house and now as tryin my hand at makin glass beads I also have blow torch etc set up in the utility room too! Tryin to persuade hubby to build me a workshop in the garden (he's a builder so not too far fetched!) but will want heating, light, wine rack etc so still working on it.... Where do you all do your stuff?

I'm only hoping with 2 sons gone to University in Aberdeen and the 3rd hopefully going to Uni somewhere in September 2011 that by the time they all qualify 1st & 2nd God willing in Summer 2012 that they'll get a job, buy a place of their own and only come home at holiday periods otherwise they could be living in caravan in back yard and who knpows even at holiday period could end of in caravan!

lol My husband converted part of my garage for my beauty room ( I am a beautician) and the spare room is now my craft room, he jokes that I have more rooms in the house than anyone else. Good luck ladies for today, please give us feedback.
