Jen - your cards are gorgeous, don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise!
When my friend did craft fairs with her cards she used to do an offer, £2 each or 3 for £5 and she sold loads and loads!!!! She also made up wee packs for people to make their own cards and these went well too!!!! Doesn't do fairs any more though!
Any one else want a look at jens lovely site, here is the link http://jennimac-handmade-cards-and-crafts.co.uk
A crafters husband comes into my shop for his lunch - he told her at the weekend that it was time to catch herself on and get out of this game, just because she had one bad show!!!!! We have all done shows that have actually cost us money, so I think it is a male thing - putting down our work! My own hubby would never put my work or efforts down - He Knows Better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! Any show you do is a total risk. You just have to keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best. I have sooooo much fun doing them! Will try and get the jewellery on the website tonight.0 -
Only 1 table available for the charity fair in carrickfergus on saturday the 13th november. Is there anyone out there interested that sells boxes and bars of chocolates? Thanks0

Hi Rachel
Does it not start at 10 am?
I am planning to leave the house as much before 8 as possible to arrive by around 8.30 - on my own and it takes me ages to set up - new stand design too!!!!!
The leisure centre is dead easy to find and really well signposted too!
See ya tomorrow!:TDJWW - cos we won't let it!0 -
Good luck and have fun at Banbridge, sounds like a good day. Missed out this time hopefully try out for next year. My next craft fair is on the 6th at Larne Leisure Centre. Making Christmas cards and wire work christmas decorations plus making more children's bracelets as I sold out at last craft fair.0

Hey everybody,
I have never done any Craft Fairs before and have decided to go for it this year. First one on 6th Nov in Lisburn. Little bit nervous.....
If there are any tips from all you professionals I would be happy to hear any advice.
Any best practice tips? Any definate do's and don'ts? I want to creat a good impression, so is there an 'etiquette' for craft fairs that you have all learnt the hard way?
Basically any tips gratefully received!!0 -
