i havent done this one just saw it yesterday in a little booklet that came through door on events in county down. Wont be doing it myself but a friend rang and as usual the jewellery is very limited - in fact i think they are oversubscribed on this score but im sure there is room for other crafters.

Thanks - I phoned them up, but unsure if they want anyone else or not, I have to phone her back later in the week.

Maybe the 18th December is just too close to Christmas anyway, I might be better off doing my Crimbo Shopping!:j

Hi Everyone

I did the fish fest in kilkeel on Monday and it was disastrous. Crowd was good but no-one buying. Might have been better if the organisers had contacted me and told me it was changed to start at 12.00 and not 2.00pm. I arrived at 1.30pm to set up and it was in full swing, other crafters had been there from 11.30pm.

Sorry for the winge!!! just wish when they take a contact number when you are booking it that they would at least let you know if had been changed.

I thought the Fish Festival started at 1pm - I arrived around 12 and there weren't that many about and most were still setting up. KDA events are usually very relaxed anyway!

I didn't do this one last year, but did in previous years, the crowd was well down, it used to be bunged, and I only lifted about a quarter of what I did the last time.

Don't know about anyone else, but this year the shows that have been good for me year on year have been well down and the ones I have just done because there was nothing else on have been good! (Though I have been getting more follow on sales both online and in the shop than I remember in past years)

Booking as much as I can for Christmas in the hope of finding some good ones - fingers crossed!
