Hi Ladies
I went to the Country Living Xmas Fair In Glasgow last November as a visitor. I would recommend it as a great day out if you can get cheap flights. I got one last year for £50 return. There is such a variety of lovely stuff and you can get to see what other crafters are doing across the water. I would imagine however that it would cost a fortune to have a stand at it. It runs for 3/4 days around end November.ive got the craft bug, watch out its catching!!!;)0 -

smokiewater do you do many events abroad?
Abroad fi? Yes you could get to Spain quicker than you can get to Perth!!!!
We are going to Perth to pick up a caravan my mum has bought on ebay so are doing a couple of agricultural shows when we are over there.
In the past I have done Country Living Fair, Glasgow & London, BBC Good Food Scotland, Real Food London, Covent Garden Irish Market (which sadly is no more) and the Manchester Irish Festival. We always make girly breaks out of these, but from experience you don't make any more money at big shows in England than you do at big shows in Ireland/Northern Ireland.
We have also done National Crafts Fair in the RDS and the Cork City Craft fair - RDS is good for us, but pricy, so I might try smaller shows in Dublin this year.
Hope this answers the question - If you are thinking of doing any and want to know how I got on let me know.DJWW - cos we won't let it!0 -
