All are great venues, and the one in the Boyne Valley we have a great 2 days planned with lots of great christmas activities and entertainment. If any of you want to make a weekend of any of the events let me know and i can do my very best to get you hotel discounts!!! Anyway they are all below, for the xmas one we are asking for 25 euro non refundable deposit to secure the place and the remainding balance is due 4 weeks before the event. Ideas Please!
Girls I need some help! My tearoom has been open for about 3 months now, someone came in this morning and said he goes into the shop next door every day and didn't even see us!
We have a sign on the main road, a sign above the door a blackboard outside and tables and chairs outside - has anyone got any other eyecatching ideas that might help people to notice us and more importantly bring them in! I have also started putting discount vouchers in bags, so anyone who buys of me at a craft fair gets 10% discount!

How about helium balloons attached to your sign outside? That always gets my attention and also kids attention, and generally speaking if kids are attracted to something parents will follow!! Is it a sandwich board and is it at the right angle i.e. 90 degrees to the shop so people read it as they approach?! My friend has a cafe in Brighton, and he often stands outside with samples on a tray and is very proactive that way, although that could just be an excuse to soak up some sunshine!! Also, he hosts groups at his cafe, like reading groups and a knitters circle which means regulars who spread the word to friends who come at other times. Where is your tea room anyway - maybe we could all come down for an MSE convention and natter outside whilst sipping latte's - that would create a stir!!Im knitty, Im nutty, but I dont know anyone called Nora.
