I'm stuck at home today coz wee Tom not a bit well :-( had a heavy cold all weekend which culminated in an almighty bout of croup this morning - I really thought he'd grown out of that have awful memories of sitting up half da nite in the bathroom steaming him with the kettle!! Will get on with my latest project, makin kids bracelets for all the world cup teams! (desperate times call for desperate measures!!)
Life's a box of beads - rainbow coloured and full of surprises!:D

Oh dear!! Well, fingers crossed. Might mean the clientelle at Mounstewart are the "older" members of the National Trust rather than the families and children I was hoping for...will have to see...lets hope we all run out of stock by mid afternoon on Sunday and come away knackered with full money boxes :T

Poor Tom! He was so good on Saturday...and very patient. Hope he gets well soon x
  • Well ladies I'm having a weekend off so while you're all stressing I'll be sitting with a glass of wine in my hand. Heehee! Mountstewart is too expensive for me. I'm trying to stick to the cheaper things this year and see how it goes. I have enough commissions to tide me over, but I don't know what I'd do if I forked out £100 for a table and didn't make it back, and the recession does seem to be affecting things this year (if Ballance House is anything to go by!). Anyway, good luck to you all...can't wait to hear how it goes.
