I know this is mainly crafts but if anyone can recommend any holistic fairs I would appreciate it!
im holding a mini fun day with a craft fair but i dont have anything like that coing if you want to attend its saturday 26th june 12-6 set up from 10 let me know and ill send across the booking form.:)0 -
Again.....im so blooming stressed....was away last night making a cake for a little girl........4 tiers!! But it was gorg!! Think the lady i made it for is posting it on her facebook this evening!! LOL now another cake for a 6 month old girl has been ordered....Im shattered!!
My eldest has his first GCSE today!! But the silly beggar forgot his glasses...cue mad rush to get them into him....making the 2 wee ones late for school!! The examiner was outside waiting on me....he took the glasses and said thanks then went straight on into the hall!! I then got a phone call from the SENCO to say that his classroom assistant was allowed in with him to keep him focused and encourage him to expand his answers and did i agree with this....(OF course) as he gives very basic answers in black and white....saying i answered the question factually what else do they want from me!?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum so forgive me if I post in the wrong place!! I'm organising a craft fair on 19th June in Conlig, Co.down in the church hall. I'm looking for any of you that would like to purchase a stall.
I'm still putting the details together so anything you need to know just ask. I work for Praxis in a respite unit in Conlig for children with disabilities and we're hoping to raise some much needed funds for equipment. I'd welcome any advice / suggestions from all of you. I think it is a bit sick for organisers to charge people crazy prices to display their stuff then to charge people in. When they already charged you to put stuff there to sell, isn't it OTT to charge people in, or am I being a skinflint? I mean.. do people want to sell or not and should they put the foot down and say they'll only do places where the public get in free as that maximises their chances? If people are charging ones in why the heck are site fees so huge? why put up with a £25 a day electric fee for only 7 hours here when we all know we could keep a flat going for a week on £25 electric? Hey... business is business, so why are we all putting up with this nutty charging when we are trying to make a sensible profit here? Why doesn't anyone start telling these organisers their charges are not making sense? Why pay to go make no money if we all wanna make a profit? Heck... sorry, but I wouldn't even go there!0
