Anybody having trouble with deliveries from england?

Im expecting a few things and each time i punch in the DHL codes its showing up as collected from suppliers, and in Manchester awaiting delivery!!!!!???

Sigh i know the volcano in iceland was creating havoc with flights............BUT could they not have got it on a ship??


Oh, my auntie aka my sitter had a heart attack last night.......heading into see her tonight!!

Re post - we've been receiving envelopes, but not parcels (was waiting on my lovely graze.com box to be delivered to work today and it didnt come boohoo). Meanwhile we are being harrassed by ebay buyers screaming "I BOUGHT THIS ON FRIDAY AND IT STILL HASNT ARRIVED - WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT" - god bless them...perhaps they dont have access to a tv or radio...sigh!

All we have been told is that she is comfortable and awaiting scans and drs coming round!! They think her stent may have become blocked and if thats the case then she will need surgery!!

Im just impatient regarding deliveries!!! :rotfl: I want the stuff NOW!!!! lol

mmmm...not sure, i dont know how heavy your stuff is or how much you would be putting on it.
check the weight limit, i think it is 13kg??
i put 2 big plastic boxes full of jewellery on it. One of the boxes is VERY heavy. And i still put more (light) stuff on top of the boxes

The one I use has a weight limit of 100kg. I've had ones that are supposed to carry up to 45kg before & they never lasted with me but all my stuff is heavy & I would have 3-4 heavy boxes on them

ok guys i need ur inspiration!!!!!!! i am desiging a website for myself and need a business name but havent a clue what to use, I am hopeless, how did u all come up with ur business names?

Mine is Books with Balloons. Whenever I started Amy used to called the books, books with balloons rather than usborne so it just kind of stuck. In saying that I always use Usborne when booking fairs etc to be fair to organisers who dont want to end up with 2 identical stands

Well I went with Ginger Rosie's Hand Painted Pots for a few reasons. Firstly I wanted something that explained what I do in the title. Secondly I wanted something that sounded kind of rustic and whimsical.

I toyed around with a lot of names before deciding that I wanted to have something to do with Mum in it....her name is Rosie and she's really the reason I got back into painting (when I gave up work last year to look after her, she encouraged me to start again and she herself still paints every day despite being very unwell and unable to move about)...anyway, then I wanted something to spice up the Rosie, so I started literally going through different spices - nutmeg, cinnamon etc - and then hit on ginger. Seeing as I have twin ginger cats it seemed appropriate (very sad I know!!!)

So, that's basically how I came up with the name. Sorry fi, that turned into an essay!

Ok......my aunt is being transferred to one of the hospitals in the city....she needs an angogramm (sorry i spell it as i hear it....and i know its wrong) She has damaged the heart but to what extent we dont know! LOL she is looking for her nintendo DS to be brought in!! But she looks well and she was in good form last nite!

OH, couriers are expected at some stage today .....and cant get anyone to sit in and wait for them until after 12.......:( I had quite a bit to do today!!
Gonna blow the cobwebs off the sewing machine (that was used once) and get it repaired whilst im in Lisburn today in BR sewing, i met them at the craft exhibition. Mum said she would like the sewing machine so it will be going there when its all better:) (gives me more room in my Garage)
