Rail Travel Voucher and Oyster

I have some Rail Travel Vouchers from a couple of particularly gruesome journeys. If I go to a National Rail Station that issues and tops up Oyster, can I use my Rail Travel Vouchers to top up my Oyster?

Don't think they are supposed to, but I've had them taken as part payment for top ups and railcards - I think it's worth a try.
  • Which National Rail stations issue Oyster cards? How do you find out?
