next directory help please

hi on the 28th of november i had a phone call from next directory asking for a payment we came to agreement i pay £50 then she told she has made a mistake and put in £99 this then left me with no money in me bank account and at the same time i had 3 direct debits going out.These then made me go over my over drafti was going to be charged £35 a time £105 in total i was told to fax over the letters from the bank and bank statments to them which i have done today due to enless phone calls to them they now told me they are not going to pay me the £105 they o me plus the calls and faxs i had to send what is my next step of action i can do now as this was no fault of mine it was theirs

Did you come to an agreement to pay £50 because you had defaulted on your bill in the first place?

Have you explained this to your bank to see if they can waive the charges as a goodwill gesture?

yer we agree £50 and she said she forgot to move the curser key to the next box i was on me mobie phone at the same time to me bank to stop these charges they was not having any of it

I would write to them with full details of the date and time of the phone call conversation including the name of the customer service person you spoke to. Enclose copies of your bank statements to show the charges you have incurred and ask them if they will refund the charges due to their error.

For future reference, NEVER come to a payment arrangement over the phone, always tell your creditors to deal with these things in writing only, it stops them putting pressure on you to pay more than you can afford and also overcharge you
