Hello,
We received a letter from the adjudicator today to say that they are upholding our complaint and we are now waiting for HFC to contact us with a settlement figure! Woohoo! Lets hope its a nice little sum but any figure is better than nothing

Woohoo - Well all is settled and paid for by HFC!!! :T:T:T

Their offer was :

1st loan - Premiums Paid - 39.27
Early repayment Redund - 51.69
Interest - 41.97

Total - 132.93

2nd Loan - Premiums Paid - 1309.91
Early Repayment Refund - 610.54
Interest - 609.87

Total - 2530.32

So needless to say as this was more than we'd hoped for and baby no2 due in 4 weeks we took the offer and the money is in our bank already! Just in time for all the car insurance/mot/road tax!

Hi - well done on your victory, glad you have the money before the baby arrives! Just out of interest, how long did it take them to pay up after you accepted their offer?

I sent the acceptance letter on the Thursday and they CHAPS the money into the bank on the following Monday so really quick!
