Russians confirm Global Warming is a Fraud!

Options
Climategate just got much, much bigger. And all thanks to the Russians who, with perfect timing, dropped this bombshell just as the world’s leaders are gathering in Copenhagen to discuss ways of carbon-taxing us all back to the dark ages.

They havent proved that global wamring is a lie only that oen group of researches have been milpulateing there result not the thousands of other researches.

Plus you dont relay need a climate chnage scientist to prove the world Climate is changein just take a look out of the window. Regardless of climate chnage teh way we use resources is unsustainable and they will run out It just so happens that presevering the world resouces is also prevents cliamte change.

You know, even if climate change proves to be some giant global conspiracy, we should still be looking after our environment. Oil is not an infinite resource nor are fish or fresh water. What will help slow or reverse climate change coincidentally will also help slow or reverse our use of finite resources. Whether you believe that climate change as supported by massive scientific evidence is actually taking place or not, you should accept that we cannot continue abusing the environment in the way that we are and maintain our quality of life.

What climate change is really about, to Governments, is raising taxes in the name of "saving the planet". It's also being used as a diversion technique - they are trying to keep people (& media) focused on climate change amongst other things so that they don't focus on the Government and all its shortcomings. The government seems to mention climate change more than any other issue facing the country (apart from the war).

It's a fact that the world has gone through many periods of severe climate change in its history, long before man began "polluting", and I don't see why the current changes cannot be natural changes as have happened in the past.
  • This isn't news, I think most people see through whats gong on, thats why most people don't think its a serious problem.

I agree with both Hamid and Pendulum's points of view. I am as green as I can be, but I am not going to lose sleep over Global Warming/Climate change. I do see it as a giant hobby horse of possible taxation, a smokescreen and ultimately a means of control.

As Gordon Brown says "New World Order" - very Orwellian in my view.

in the seventies i remember reading in the press that we were all heading into an ice age, Gordon Clown was on telly the other morning live from copenhagen
INTERVIEWER: "so what will getting the issues in copenhagen resolved mean to britain then prime minister?"
CLOWN: "at least 500,000 more jobs for british workers and a massive boost to our exports"
at no point did he mention climate, temperature or saving the world, and please people, the climate has been changing since the world was formed and will continue to do so long after man has become extinct
  • Whatever happened to the Nuclear Winter that was promised all those years ago?

    I am a man-made global warming sceptic.

According to Cepheus (and Gordon Brown) I am a "Denier" - This puts me in the same category as people who say that Auschwitz didn't exist - not good !

I have just commented (on another thread) about some ludicrous figures posted by Cepheus concerning CO2 "production".
Why do many people of this ilk have to behave like religous zealots when it comes to this subject ??
