Matched bet settled and thank crunchie, won at the exchange for a change :j

This means I have a nice balance at the exchange with which to lay off a bit more of the wagering requirement, without having to mess around moving money from various other accounts. This one is tying up all my funds so I will be really glad to finish it.

    Menu plan for tomorrow:
B - Porridge made with large oat flakes, ss milk and sweetner
L - veg soup and wholemeal bread
D - Omlette/Fritatta type thing with mushrooms and onions, tinned toms, and possibly random veg
    Snacks - fruit.

Just a quick one:rotfl: to say I managed to stick to the meal plan today and had an NSD :j:j.

And I have made sarnies for me and OH ready for tomorrow, I used to be dead good with taking lunches to work but this has slipped, so am glad that the diet is forcing me back to more MSE ways.

Nothing much in the way of DFW news apart from 50p on the Virgin scratchie, which is not to be sniffed at.

Just got another £100 on my monster basket so hopefully nearing completion on that one, I am planning on having it finished with the saturday footie if funds allow.

I hope everyone has had a good day

Forgot to mention, the omlette / frittata type thing was pretty marvelous and really easy - only took about 5 mins to make. I am going to save it in my little folder of meal ideas so just incase anyone is interested in GI:

    4-5 mushrooms, sliced up
    couple of slices of onion
Fry in a little drop of oil

Pour over 2 beaten eggs [should say at this point, "proper" GI wants you to use Omega3 eggs, but personally as long as they are free range and don't have the words "cadburys creme" infront of them I am quite happy that they are diet friendly]

Let the egg cook through, sprinkle over a little tiny bit of mature cheddar, shove under grill for 2 mins, and serve. Whats more it doesn't matter if it falls apart a bit as that is already covered in the "frittata" title :rotfl:

Served with some tinned tomatoes and bit of frozen spinach zapped in the microwave.

    Morning everyone

Just celebrating that my inbox now no longer has any emails from 2009  but there are about 200 from 2010.

Feeling pretty bluerrgh today, I really am carp at getting out of bed, especially when it is PITCH BLACK :o. I will be happy to keep my head down and get through the day today without eating or drinking any banned substances.

I have not checked on my matched bets from last night yet, but I heard on the radio that liverpool won so I think that means me winning at the bookies again  so will have to sort that out later.

    Todays virtuous menu:
    B - Porridge
L - Tuna & low fat mayo sarnie on wholegrain
D - Some sort of chunky/beany diet soup for me; turkey stir fry for hubby. [I have weird aversion to stir fry, I know I should like it but I just don't:p]

Have a good day anyone reading!

Phew what a day! Work was mental, then came home and tackled the ironing moutain while lovely hubby made tea ;)
Then sorted lunches for tomorrow & got stuff ready for tea tomorrow to be shoved in slow cooker in the morning.

No chocolate, crisps, biscuits or any kind of junk has passed my lips hurrah :T

Just sat down for a bit of quality time with the laptop before collapsing. I had an email from betfair for a scratchard offer so I played that and won a £10 freebet in the arcade, which I have just been really lucky on with roulette and managed to turn it into £18 yay yay :T

Absolutely cream crackered now so will be off to bed soon.
    Hope everyone reading is ok.

    Yay for Friday everyone :j

I was feeling quite pleased this morning, as I got up in plenty of time, applied makeup (my boss called me in to check if I was alright yesterday as I looked "weird", turns out I just had no slap on :rotfl:, have meeting with her today so didn't want to scare her again), sorted out slow cooker stuff, cleaned kitchen, made porridge, cleaned kitchen again when th'youngest spilled coffee all over it, ate porridge, AND was ready to leave the house on time, but then....:mad::mad: I couldn't find my bloody keys.

So then ended up storming round the house for 15mins opening and shutting drawers, looking in pockets, even had dh go and check if I had left them in the ignition... only to eventually find them in my handbag?!?! And then was 10mins late for work :o

So thats a lesson for me against overly-organised-smugness. Silly moo.

Morning everyone, lovely misty start here earlier on when I had my nice half hour of peace before everyone woke up

Not got many plans for weekend as oh is trying to finish off the never ending attic project. So I am just hoping to have a chilled out one.

Had to bring some work home unfortunately so will have to spend an hour or two sorting that out.

In MSE news I made about £6 on a jackpot joy game last night. Its a free daily game which I have been playing for weeks with only pence to show, so I was quite pleased to get a couple of quid out of it. Have just placed what I hope is the final remaining wagering requirement on my monster bet basket. When that settles later I should be able to withdraw from there. I had to borrow a bit out of my current account for this :o, but its only for a few hours. And it will be worth it otherwise who knows how long I would have spent trying to get through the wagering requirements.

I was thinking I might put the proceeds of this one towards my overdraft (£736) rather than leave it in the MB pot. I have enough float to do the regular offers, £25 - £100 ok. But I have really struggled with this £200 offer because you have to bet through £1200 and have enough to lay that off. Apologies if this doesn't make any sense. I was kinda thinking the float I have is basically enough, and if another big offer comes up I can temporarily "borrow" the extra needed from my current account. Surely thats better than having lots in the MB pot when it could be offsetting some overdraft interest? I will have to ponder this a bit more I think.

On the diet front I am very pleased with myself as I have stuck to my eating plans every day :j. I just got weighed on the wii fit this morning and it says I have lost 3lb :j:j.
Now I don't want to take that too seriously as I only last weighed myself on tuesday night and that was really late in the evening. I know you are supposed to do it at the same time but I just wanted a rough idea of where I was before I started. But still I am very pleased with that so will definitely keep going :D.

    So todays meal plan:
    B - Porridge
L - Will have some diet soup or possibly something on toast
D - Chicken enchiladas & Salad. (not strictly GI as has quite a bit of cheese and the tortillas are not wholemeal. But Will just have small bit of that and top up with salad. Refuse to @rse around making 2 meals and I know this is something the kids will eat ;)).

Hope everyone has a good day!

Yay Yay I am v excited as the monster basket bookie emailed to say I completed the wagering requirements :j So I have just withdrawn a healthy amount, which covers the money I owe to my current account plus the rest of my float that was tied up there. Then when the match finishes this afternoon there may be more to withdraw or it might end up at betfair.

This is fab news as I have a raft of offers sitting in my betting inbox which I will now be able to work through as I will have some funds back :j

Also 3 of my ebay items finishing tomorrow will sell. For 99p :rotfl:. But every little helps :D.

Morning morning, hope everyone is ok-ish (as ok as you can be on a grey January Monday :D. )

Well in true homework style I left my work stuff that needed doing until sunday night :o. Next time I have any whimsical musings about going back to uni, somebody needs to remind me of this tendancy! There were a few more problems than I thought so it took a while and I have a long list of stuff to sort this morning. When I had finished I REALLY fancied something nice to eat. This is normally the point where I would break the diet and eat something bad. But I am very proud of myself because I had some chopped up brazils and a chopped up banana, with some low fat yoghurt on top. And it was actually very nice :A

    Food consumed yesterday:
B - Poached eggs on wholemeal (no butter)
    Banana
Didn't have lunch as brekkie wasn't til 11.30.
Early tea as had to feed kids before they went - Spag bol. I made a little side one for me with quorn rather than mince. I had wholeweat fusili instead of white pasta, and had half a plate of salad with it.
Late snack - banana, nuts & yoghurt

The only non angelic thing about that was the pasta sauce was out of a jar so probably contained large amounts of sugar. But we had loads of those jars in the cupboard, and no tinned toms to make my own. So this was a DFW / diet compromise :D:p

DFW news.... sold 2 items on ebay. For 99p :o. And thats it so far. Need to get through my big work list then I will tackle the banking etc.

Hope everyone has a good day. :)

Good news... I received my withdrawal from the monster bookie and after doing all the sums I think I made about £180 from it :j:j

But then I went into a meeting and got an impossible tasks dumped on me from a great height :mad:

At least that happened after lunch, or I would be storming off now for some comfort eating :o
