taking house of the market

my house as been up for sale for 5 weeks had 2 viewings the 1st really wanted it but couldn't afford the mortgage and the 2nd heard 2 differnt storys from the estate agent the 1st being she hadn't got back in touch with them to say if she liked it or not then when i phoned again for a update it turned into that she never turned up. don'tknow what to believe . Now i am having a change of heart about selling it . i signed a three month contract with the estate agent am i best being honest with them and saying i no longer wish to sell or do i have to sit it out.?

    if you are withdrawing it from the market, just tell them that, it happens all the time, don't worry, they are used to it - but, check out their terms and conditions re future sales within the signed for contract period.

    I would do the same be honest with the estsate agent and say you have decided you no longer want to move. If they get funny about it just say ok - carry on as you were and then just refuse any offers that come along!

    Put it in writing to your agent & ask them to confirm in writing that they have received your letter of termination.
