Rights over cancelled holiday after payment

Options
I booked a holiday yesterday morning and paid in full, the holiday was to a ski resort that had a special offer of free lift passes and ski and boot hire. After talking to a number of people at the company about the holiday/hotel/resort and waiting for them to check availability etc i booked the holiday, paid in full and was given my confirmation number and told to collect the flight tickets at the airport.

At 7:30pm the company telephoned me to apologise that the special offer of free lift pass and hire had ended and therefore the deal wasn't available anymore, they are offering a full refund and £30 voucher off a next holiday.

Surely if they took full payment, i'm entitled to what i paid for?

They were unable to fulfil the contract, hence they refunded your money. Unfortunate, but they've at lelast given you the £30 goodwill gesture, which is nice.
