if there contracts have within them "licences-to do",who issued the licence ?
ok this may seem like a daft thing i am saying, just a thought which ended up as type.............maybe like a lot of my posts, just the ravings of a ripped off bank customer.missed direct debit charges, very odd, theres no pain so how come the big gain,i.e £39.00 for a letter0 -

OFT issue licences to financial institutions.0 -
the banks are partly relying on the fact that there contract we sign is so tangled with uncertainty it will take a long time to sort it all out which gives them loads of time to argue the toss and rethink there arguments also, wheel within a wheel.........etc etc etc etc etc.
we need someone to say, enough is enough and sort it out fast, but that aint gonna happen cos i dont think any political party have the balls
Politicians can sort out the banks NOW but they cannot legislate for charges that were HISTORICALLY taken and that involves legal proceedings whether we like it or not.
gorden brown and cameron have pretended to be alongside but really there hedging there bets, vince cable has been more outspoken and aggresive about these very dodgy charges but they have all fallen short of saying "if we get into power charges will be returned one way or the other" anyway there not going to say that, the government arent certain either, thats how sly and deceiptfull the banks have been,i suppose most contracts have some form of penalty within them, however the banks approach is one of shear aggression, full tilt head on attack to customers accounts, they are relentless and cunning and would take the money from a homeless person im certain of it,they dont care about people, remember they cant see them,we are a number only, its on your bank card, that is how they judge all of us,name, rank, and number .
LibDems can be more vociferous since they realistically have no chance of being the major party of government.
they dont care if your on the bones of your !!!!,they want your money, they take your money and then they tell you to get stuffed when you realise the plain fact that all along they have been waiting for you to mess up,in the knowledge its "kerching time at the zoo"for banks, theyve got used to ripping us off, they like it.

with or without the oft this isnt going away, far from it,the banks cant bury this one any longer, its in the public knowledge absolutely now,and the banks are gonna get a bloody nose over it,what a shame :j
OK, the news leaked today is that the OFT will not be fighting further. So who else is going to step in and represent the consumer? The OFT and the other "regulatory" bodies in this market lack any real clout.
Could Martin Lewis do a better job?

Let's wait and see what is actually said since the media reported that the banks WON the Supreme Court case which was not entirely the case. It's nice to have a leak but let's wait and see what the content of their announcement actually is.0
