£100k to deposit short term

We've sold our house and are going to rent short term (6mths or less) while we look for the next place to buy.
With any luck we should have about £100,000 from the sale, just wondering what/where would be the best place to save this given that we would want fairly easy access.
From what I can see the Northern Rock account paying 1.9% is quite good?
Any other good ideas?
