I never heard of qiudco until people were saying it on the boards. Do you have to pay for using quidco ? and is there a contract or can I cancel membership at any time ? Also is it a safe way to shop online ? Thank you for your help .

They take the first £5 of your earnings each year, but everything above that is yours.
In terms of financial details it's completely safe, you are still dealing directly with the retailer. All quidco do is use a tracking cookie to notify the retailer that you came via quidco's site.0 -
There's a £5 membership fee each year but that comes out of any earnings rather than you having to pay upfront.
Cancel whenever you like. It's a cashback site so you just go through that website to your chosen retailer. If you feel safe shopping with that retailer, then there's no problem0 -
Hi,
I use quidco, I think there is a 5 pound yearly administration charge. There is no catch. i just do my normal shopping through it and get tracked cash back.
No contract and I think you can cancel anytime. It has recently been updated.
I use that and topcashback and have had quite a bit off money back over the past 3 years for doing my usual shopping so don't worry about it and try it!!

Is it worth it if you spend a small amount or do you have to be one of life's big spenders, buying new TV's, Hi-Fi systems, gadgets etc?0

Just to reiterate that you MUST clear your cookies before you go through to the retailer via Quidco. In fact I clear all my cookies every night and use Firefox just for Quidco. If I'm wanting to buy something, I will go through one of the comparison sites via Quidco, eg 'The High Street', choose where I want to buy, then clear cookies (via Internet Tools). You will then have to re-sign on to Quidco.
Also, when you are registering for Quidco, choose BACS for payment and ensure the minimum payment amount is set at 0.00.
Enjoy Quidco, have been with them for a couple of years and have had over £1000 from them.

As mentioned above (our posts crossed), you can get small amounts of money by going through Quidco, for instance, one of the comparison sites gives 4p for going into the site and then onto another site. Check out the Daily Clicks thread on the Debt Free Wannabe thread.
(PS and that's why you set your BACS payment to 0.00; I have been paid out 16p before now.)

Worth it for all on-line purchases, big or small. This'll be my 3rd Christmas and I've had close to £400 back on items I would have purchased anyway.
There is no catch as long as you don't buy items based on cashback and fail to search for cheapest price in the first place. You also get some discount codes via quidco.
If you buy anything on line and don't use quidco - ask yourself why you're on this forum in the first place;)0 -
I always do my shopping online. I hate the shops and avoid them with all costs. I love the - you get when you found a discount code
. I have signed up and when the daughter is asleep. I will try it out.
