how to confuse someone !!!

hello all

i sent of a sar request 2 weeks ago to black horse and recieved a big wad of information today
After an hour studying it a couple of documents really didnt add up its a calculation of interest due and a date for it to be refunded, and then i realised the gorps at BH sent me details of someone elses claim to be refunded, how bad is that!!!
I have rang them and they seemed a bit sheepish and have asked me to return the documents with my claim form ha ha

OMG, that is read BAD of them..........:eek: report them to the ICO.
How do you know someone else have not got yours.......:eek:

That’s appalling how can a company be so negligent? :eek:

Great news :j :j for you though, use it to your advantage. Imagine if this information was leaked to the media, the adverse publicity would be disastrous for Black Horse and the financial implications if the FOS were to fine them for breach of the Data Protection Act.

OP Please follow the advice quoted above. You must let the ICO know. This is a serious breach of data protection requirements.

If you felt like being naughty, contact the person the information relates to and let them know about it as well.

i will defo report the breach but it only has account numbers and calculations no names and adresses but still a bad mistake, and to be honest i havnt actually told BH what the documents are just that i have them and i know they arn't mine just tokeep the on there toes i will not give too much away lol
