is this ok for my letter?
Dear sir /madam,
With reference to the above address, for which we have a mortgage with your company and a secured loan with ********, we would like to inform you that we no longer live there and it is able to be repossessed in any way you see fit, we are aware that any shortfall when you come to sell the property would then become part of our bankruptcy and no liability will fall on us. The property has been left in good order with no fixtures or fittings removed as stated during numerous telephone conversations. Please find enclosed, as requested, the keys to the property[STRIKE]Shazbo[/STRIKE]

The quicker you stop speaking to the Abbey the quicker your account is passed to Eversheds (thats what I got told, didn't phone them for 5 weeks and hey presto)
Got the letter of eversheds one Saturday, phoned them on the monday told them i was going BR the next day, and the following week had the court date for repossession.
I spoke to Paul at Eversheds and he was very understandingTotal Weight Loss - 28lb and countingAD 17/11/20100 -
curly the last time i spoke to them was probably a month ago and before that would have been in sept. i havent rung them once, i would rather not speak to them ever again to be fair, the last time they rang they said nothing had happened because it was on hold for 14 days, that was 3 months after we told them we were out!!!
i thought they might want to realise their money alot sooner than this.
but i will send the letter i promised i would, minus a signature, and tell them we wont try and stop it and to go ahead.
unfortunately i was panicked into getting insurance which we cant afford but a bit off the food bill and a bit off the clothes allowance for a while we should be ok, for the peace of mind it has to be worth it. although we do have to pay 6 months worth of insurance even if they repossess within a month (unlikely i know) such is life, i will be so glad when the year is over and i can relax[STRIKE]Shazbo[/STRIKE]
