I had a beautiful bathroom suite, new shower and tiles fitted a month or so ago. Unfortunately, i was short a few tiles to tile the bath panel.
I've been phoning the tile place constantly, and they are having problems sourcing the tiles. They promised me the tiles from the display, but these tiles broke as it was getting taken down. I don't know what to do? I've contacted the factory direct, but they are apparently facing bankruptcy, so i don't expect any feedback. The thought of a cheap plastic bath panel is awful, any ideas that will look nice? I have a white bathroom suite with cream tiles (titania beige) and grey central strip of tiles on the bath wall.
Thanks

A wooden path panel with a white or crème Gloss. Dulux mixed paint gloss/satin wood is suitable for use in exterior areas and can be mixed to match your tiles. Just make sure it’s solid wood side and not a cheap MDF one so if any moisture gets into the wood its less likely to blow out.0

Oh what a nightmare for you.
Have you tried looking at different companies who may have the same tiles in stock?
Might be worth asking around different stores and seeing as they may have the same or very similar ones to help xDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Bear in mind that although you may like a nice tiled bath panel. The whole purpose of a bath panel is to provide access to the under-bath plumbing, and as such, needs to be easily removable. A tiled panel is going to be extremely heavy and liable to flex, which will either crack the tiles or cause them to come loose. You will not thank yourself if you have an emergency and the panel cannot be rapidly removed. Just a thought for you to consider.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Opaque Glass. Toughened and shatterproof of course from a glazier. Holes in the corners, screwed onto a wooden frame.
Not all plastic bath panels are nasty either.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

have the broken ones from display been disposed of?
you could break them up and make a mosaic effect from them.
saying that opaque glass as suggested by doozergirl looks very good.0 -
I have a bit of kitchen splashback- looks excellent and removes easily for access to pipes if requiredbaldly going on...0

Thanks for all the fab replies! I think i will look into the glass, also considering tiling the panel with the grey tiles i have as a feature strip on the bath wall. Did actually see a nice plastice panel online which looked far better than the usual panels, but as my bath is raised a little higher than normal, i will need to discount this option. Thanks all :beer:0

If you have carpet you can actually have a matching carpetted bath panel . My folks have one in their ensuite. I've also seen lino glued to plywood. These obviously depend on the choice of floor covering though.
Personally i'd go with tongue/groove wood panelling, or maybe just a bit of plywood or other wood panel painted up nice. Attach with mirror screws or catches so can be easily removed for access.
Like the toughened glass idea though likely to be pricier..similar idea is to use a coloured opaque perspex - but likely to be even pricier!0
