Have you tried men's wellies (I'm assuming you're a lady
). I can't wear lady's wellies, but bog standard men's green Dunlop wellies in Size 6 fit really well.
You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.
Oi you lot - pleaseGIVE BLOOD

I have huge calves and got these ones from office for a festival. Spent four days wearing them with jeans tucked in and they are so comfy. They have different designs too and very good quality.

Do you have a farm supplies near you? They stock different ranges. ne of the cheapest nes, can't remember name, is a black boot with a thin red top, they are usually worn by men, farmers, but these have wide calves (presumably to allow for boiler suits/layers)
MUCH cheaper than the other ranges of wellies, and in our house, longer lasting too.
Also, for dog walking you might want to consider muckers....that are only ankle height..I find wellies uncomfortable and prefer muckers.0 -
Have a look on this http://www.robinsons-uk.com/products/ProductList.asp?topGroupCode=001&parentGroupCode=0103&groupCode=01303&page=1
Robinsons do Wellies with gusset sides - adjustable with a neat buckle for a snug fit. I have a similar problem with my calves but find these ones are lovely and roomy. Have bought these and other things from Robinsons and have always been very happy with things:heartpuls The best things in life aren't things :heartpuls

I so understand!
I have recently seen something called Muck boots which are wellies and they also do riding boots. They are normal welly material to just above the ankle and then neoprene the rest of the way up. Neoprene is quite stretchy so could be quite comfortable.
Other than that...0 -
Calves do not need wellies their feet are quite capable of tolerating all climactic conditons prevelant in the UK.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

I've got 'athletic' calves and found it difficult to find wellies to fit. I've previously bought Town & Country branded wellies (available from most garden centres or online) but this year I fancied treating myself to something a bit sturdier and warmer and bought some of those Muck Boots that Chocolate80 mentioned. They are fantastic for walking in and because they have the neoprene stretchy bit round the calf, you don't get that horrid slippy, sloppy too-big feeling that you get with normal wellies.
They're a bit more pricey at just over the forty quid mark, but I walk the dog in them every day at the moment and wanted to be comfortable!

I've always had big calves! They are all muscle (or most of it) they look sick when I tense them up! I remember I went to a festival and I had to go buy wellies because of the weather and had to cut the backs of them to make room for my big calves *sob* since loosing weight and exercising they have went down a bit, condensed any fat there into more muscle :rotfl: I can now squeeze them into extra wide fitting boots at any rate!
I think Evans do wider fitting? They might have wellies in?0 -
I too had this problem, I now have some wellibob's, they are great, more like a shoe than a boot but keep you feet dry just the same!
