Does anyone bank with Citibank and how do you find them?

Overall 6/10.

Bad stuff - no faster payments, no loans, no cc, slow to setup, Indian call centre (for some this is bad...I am agnostic).

Good stuff - free euro & US$ account, website, you can use Lloyds branches, service OK for me, 24hour helpline.

I used to bank with them but don't anymore.

My main gripe was they didn't offer faster payments and there is no real local banking facilities, I know you can pay over the counter at Lloyds but you can't really 'talk' to them.

I also didn't like their outsourced call centre, 7/10 times the person did not understand my queries there were a few who did but I'd nearly always end up putting my queries in writing to their customer service team.

I also had my card cloned and they stopped the card but wouldn't send me a replacement until I returned my existing card to them, which was a problem as I was abroad, luckily my husband had his and we had access to funds through Natwest otherwise it could have been worse.

I wouldn't use them personally again, however, their free US$ account and Euro accounts can be useful for some.

Probably best if you can get to one of their branches in London and not for when you live 4 hours from London!
