£1 Easy read booktoken voucher did not scan in Tesco today!

I used one yesterday and one today at Tescos, normal tills, worked fine.

Onlry received mine today (£200) after reading posts I hotfooted it down Tesco's (Northampton) tonight and put £6 through the self service machine.

Will be gutted if they stop taking them, will have to put them on ebay but they are getting about quarter of the price there.

Anyone tried the QuickRead vouchers at Tesco lately? (Particularly on selfscan). I just got some of these vouchers and am wondering if I'm brave enough to try ;-)

I had one accepted today at the normal tills in Tesco, but one refused on Monday. I think it really does depend who serves you. Today she excepted 11 pounds worth of vouchers off a £26 shop (only one quickread voucher). On Monday it was 4 pounds worth of vouchers off a £33 shop

My store has put signs on all the tills saying not to accept these book vouchers at all. Two other Tesco's in the area have done the same.

Saying that, I'm not really suprised when you take into account how many must have been handed in. Something like 7 million handed out in total.
