£1 Easy read booktoken voucher did not scan in Tesco today!

For the first time today, this token would not scan. Ths SA tried twice and it was rejected. The double beep sounded. Has anyone else had this problem?

Mine worked in Tesco today, but yesterday the SA said they were not taking them! Just a case of who you get I think.

My quick read vouchers are no longer accepted in my local Tescos, they do scan but the cashiers have been told not to accept them or face severe consequences

My local Asda does take them which is good as I have about 850 left, although I prefer shopping at Tescos.

Are these still working on the self scans?

I believe they are as it has been mentioned on a different thread, my store doesn't have a self scan so I do not use one.

Tesco Walkden (Manchester) accepted the quick read voucher and let me take 25% off the bill so long as the vouchers were different. He checked with the checkout supervisor at 6.30pm last night.

Thanks for all this. It's strange because the cashier tried to put it through. All the other coupons went through but this on edidn't for the first time.

Keep trying, as sometimes coupons that don't scan one day, will scan on another till (or if the cashier uses the pointy wand thing!).

My Tesco took an internet printed one yesterday, this was the first one I had used. I had only printed 4 because they are large and conspicuous, and I am still waiting to see if I get sent any original ones (I emailed for them plus goodies for the school July fair ages ago!).
