    Hi guys

Not too much meal planning going on this week as spending most time with my parents but here are a few things:

Saturday: Had Christmas day with OH as he is going to his parents for Xmas so had roast chicken, roast potatoes, roast sweet potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots baked in wine and rosemary, sprouts in balsamic and garlic, with greens and gravy. Yum!
Sunday: Picking on nibbly bits all day, had cheese and crackers so far and will have pizza and filo prawns etc later.
Monday: Another Christmas dinner with work!
    Tuesday: Mushroom and pea risotto
Wednesday - Sunday: Back to Bristol to see parents so whatever they have!

I hope everyone has lovely Christmases and manages to get a lovely rest in! xx

  • Haven't done a proper meal plan in an age

    Mon - Chilli with rice
Tues - Chilli with jacket potatoes - don't like having the same two days running but the freezer is full to bursting at the moment
    Weds - Pasta/tomato based sauce
Thurs - Butternut squash soup/hm bread - off work so have more time to cook
Fri - Traditional Christmas dinner, selection of cold sweets for dessert
Sat - Turkey, ham, quiche, new potatoes, salad
Sun - Whatever is leftover as I will be slobbing on the sofa :rotfl:

Work breakfasts are usually weetabix, with a pasta/rice or couscous salad for lunch.
When I am off, probably toast/cereal for breakfast with pasta/rice or a sandwich for lunch.

Today - rump steak, jacket spud, mushrooms, tomatoes & onions.
Monday - something from the freezer, probably be either HM lasagne & salad or leftover pork that I froze in gravy with some veg.
Tuesday - out with a friend, as log as the roads are clearer!!
Wednesday - out for a few drinks so probably a sandwich before we venture out followed by a drunken pizza (BOGOF!) on the way home.
Thursday - having a mini party, just me & OH as we won't see each other much on xmas day, having m&s party food, pringles and some of my homemade choccys.
Friday - all meals at parents. I'm going to make english muffins on thurs to take around for breakfast.
Saturday - tea at OHs parents.
Sunday - family gathering at Aunt's house.
