Anyone help with Honeywell 7-day programmer display not lit????

As per the title really, we had total new oil fired central heating put in, in August this year. We have now notice that the Honeywell 7-day programmer display is not lit up anymore. Does anyone know if this uses batterys? (It has an electric trunking feed running along side it, so OH assumed it was electric fed). I remmeber the installers telling us the wireless thermostat would need new batteries at some point, but not the actual programmer. Just wondering if anyone can help incase its easy to fix, otherwise I'll be calling the installers up.
TIA :)

Good morning: you haven't included the model:confused: lots of info on the Honeywell site. Do you not have the user manual?

    oh, ok, thanks.
I was only asking incase it was simple before ringing. It is an ST9100C. I will also check the manual.
  • I assume it is just the backlight? Otherwise it works? Then not a battery problem but a failed abcklight. Get the installer in.

  • I have the wireless one, and it takes batteries. It only lights up tho when i press a button not all the time. The actual reciver attached to the pump is wired in and dosnt take battries. But mine maybe different to yours.
