Hi All,
Just wondering which car park is the best to park in in Belfast?
I know the In-Shops park is £1.80 an hour. The City Car Park (multistory beside Castlecourt) is £1.70 an hour.
Are any of the surface ones cheaper? Are they always full and waiting time is long to get in?
I like the city car park one as I can pay by credit card, but that is not really a big factor in choosing a park!

We used one on Saturday that has a big sign outside saying Parking no more than £3. It is opposite the Waterfront and is called something Quay. It was perfect for Victoria Square and when we left after about 2 hours it was £1.0

Monday to friday the cheapest place to park i have found so far is beside the northside park & ride at the end of the m2.
It costs £2 a day to park in it and there are usually spaces after 9.30. As soon as u come off the m2 to go around to the westlink its on the immediate right before the road to the northside park & ride carpark.0 -
Theres the car park at the odessey I think its 70p an hour you would need to double check. It is then a short walk across the bridge into town and easier than driving around belfast trying to get parked less stressful.0

Some on-street parking is free at Christmas after 16:30 each day.
The streets involved are Bedford Street, Linenhall Street, Adelaide Street, Alfred Street, Ormeau Avenue, Franklin Street, Clarence Street and Linenhall Street West.

Hope this helps a little!
You can also see a list of surface car parks over at http://applications.roadsni.gov.uk/carparking/TownCarparks.aspx Just select Belfast from the drop-down box. The site also shows prices, if you click the link beside the car park name0 -
Good luck with the onstreet parking. We took the kids to the Xmas market at CH during the week and spent over 20mins driving round looking for a space. Probably cost me more in petrol than would have spent sticking in one of the multi storeys. :mad:0

Also, if you're in on a Saturday, you can park in St Annes cathedral car park all day for £3.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0
