Little bit of organisation and I'm sure you could eliminate the need for a second machine. Plus, the SPACE it takes up. I gave mine to a friends Dad as I make by hand now, and i have SO much room in my cupboard .
Would you really not let your daughters use the kenwood, even if you teach them how? That's quite er protective.:o
:eek:I honestly dont need permission from anyone regarding what i buy, genuinely wondering if it would be cost effective, time, labour and electricity wise and trying to be a little lighthearted about it--maybe lost in translation..in my mind, baking 2 loaves overnight isnt too unsimilar to people baking 4 loaves in one go in an oven(my oven aint good enough tho),and im not overprotective of my girls..just my kenwood:rotfl:seriously tho,the other is simpler to use,all cups n spoons,no weighing...crikey OH,might even be able to use it.
anyway, ive made my mind up im gonna get it....decision based on the fact that i have a £10 off E-code from Argos from their last promotion, and apparantly Argos may be doing their voucher promotion this week from Fri-Sun..which could bag me another £5 off voucher, and free delivery,at this rate il be getting it for next to nothing:rotfl:Anywa, apologies if my question has been innapropriate, thanks for the replies guys, wilstill use the tips about freezing etc, much appreciated.Slimming World..Wk1,..STS,..Wk2,..-2LB,..Wk3,..-3.5lb,..Wk4,..-2.5,..Wk5,..-1/2lb,Wk6,..STS,..Wk7,..-1lb.
Week 10,total weightloss is now 13.5lbs Week 11 STSweek 14(I think)..-2, total loss now 1 stone exactly
GOT TO TARGET..1/2lb under now weigh 10st 6.5(lost 1st 3.5lbs)0 -

You've totally misinterpreted me..... i was being light hearted about the "permission" and the whole thing really...... Enjoy your second machine.
And I meant you sounded protective of your machine...... not your girls!
Using two machines - compared to 4 loaves in an oven- not quite the same in my mind . Your oven would be on regardless of how many loaves you were cooking. Having two BMs going at once, is twice the electricity.
Just disregard my post altogether really !:oA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

I know I'm a bit late as you've probably bought one already but I'd have said the same, perhaps you could organise better to make loaves and freeze. For me I couldnt fit anymore in the kitchen cupboards:D.
Agree with Zippychick about twice the electricity/having the oven on.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -
Honestly I wouldn't buy another one - I make mine by hand more often than not since I found out about making no knead bread and hopefully Santa is bringing me the Artisan bread in five minutes a day book - can't wait :j
:santa2:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
