Most of the sales going on at the moment are NOT as good as those AFTER Christmas, from experience i know most stores discount things alot more after. For example at Wilkinson we are 50% reducing Xmas items on Dec 24th, but at the beginining of January some things will go 75% off, so its definitely worth waiting, most shops reduce in stages like we do to clear whats left :beer:

Some posts get missed because this site is so busy now!

If we post threads together ie;
Like this one when sales start or items related to a certain shop.
Maybe we'll be able to stop unnecessary double threads & find/or not miss out on things ?

lots of bargains in home base today....reduced crackers paper trees christmas decorations....all the single decorations for the tree are 99p or less...hth

Naaa!-I used to work at River Island a few years back. We all wanted to work Boxing day- had to come in early (like 8am) to complete the marking down, I did a 13 hour day that year! And then got triple pay! the only negative in that was that the managet did not allow us to put aside any sale stuff for ourselves. So we just hid it in the stock room, kept the manager out of the stock room!
