Mot

My sister's Car tax is due at the end of June and I decided to go help her renew it, only to realise her last MOT was done in Nov 2004! So she's about 7months late for it.

I'm booking in a new test ASAP but will I/she get penalised for this?

Probably not so long as you don't tell anyone that she's been driving for months with no MoT :). But you can't drive the car legally until you drive it to the MoT station.

I hope it's a one off time she forgot tho. Gonna remind her that it's a yearly thing she needs to get done.

    Thanks all.

And we wonder why when people crash into use and they don't have any MOT, Tax or Insurance. We pay for it.

Surely you need the MOT to Tax the car. They send letters about Tax so surely she has known about the MOT. She would've needed to get her Tax before now.
    Please Thank Me
