Nest box camera

Does anyone have any experience with bird nest box cameras? I want to get a wireless one, that could also be used to watch wildlife in the garden or be put in our hollow tree where an owl nested last year.
Thanks

Have a look on the Bbc nature watch sites they've done loads of webcams in nests and boxes.

I am now thinking that a waterproof wireless cctv set up may be more versatile. There are some that have day/night vision but I dont think i need sound. Do you think these may be more reliable? and will a cheapish (less than £100) one do the job?

I don't know where you are, but if you have a local Ornithological Society it might be worth getting in touch with them [and joining!] as they might have an 'expert'. Mine has people with experience of cameras in a variety of nesting sites including Peregrine Falcons and Swifts, and the RSPB reserve at Pulborough, West Sussex has had a camera in a Barn Owl nest box in the roof above their tea room for several years.
