Creda electric fan oven not working

Help -
We've got an old Credaplan Europa cooker and I thought I'd do the good housewife bit and give it a thorough clean.

Started with the control panel - took off the knobs to clean behind them but on pulling the one for the top oven there was a spark from behind the knob and the electricity went off.

Checked main trip switch and put it back on. Checked main cooker fuse on circuit board and put that back on too. The separate hob works (gas with electric spark), the clock on the oven and timer work but neither the top or main oven do anything (the indicator light above the knob doesn't come on either).

Please, what do I do next?

Thanks,
Beckipeg
